Don't let the knockers convince you

Dear Concerned,

I can relate to living out of the US for many years; but what I do find is that living in the US is completely different from viewing it from abroad, especially through EU-colored glasses, or in my case Aussie-colored goggles.

Beside, the European have plenty of issues of their own. The reality is that European leaders (Elite) try to sweep Europes issues under the carpet, so to speak, where they fester and become far worse. This is why Europe and many other countries enjoy American bashing soooo much. Most counties don't air their dirty laundry like the US; neither do these other countries understand that the US is stronger for its honesty, and can more readily fix problems because of its openness.

So let me encourage you not to get too down on America just because the Europeans have knocked her for so long.
