Dr. Pipes,
...I hope you are right in this email regarding President Bush's support for Israel, words vs. actions. I just taked with several knowledgeable relatives in Israel. They believe that the US support is crucial to Israel's survival, as you know, but also feel quite "bad" when they hear what Bush says. So from a morale point of view it is important to the Israelis. But other considerations motivate the President. And they are more important to the US than the mood of the Israelis.
