Rethinking the Egypt-Israel "Peace" Treaty --

Reader comment on item: Rethinking the Egypt-Israel "Peace" Treaty

Submitted by Shera Samson (United States), Nov 21, 2006 at 23:11

One thing more. When Israel gave back the Sinai Desert to Egypt as part of the "Peace" Treaty, she gave away the oil under the desert sands, as well.

Israel's ability to sustain herself in an oil hungry world was severly compromised.

It is another tragic testament to perfidy and foolishness in the annals of Jewish history. And there are those who will say we had to take the chance for a possible peace but this has been going on for too many generations and somehow we never seem to learn. God help us.
