To commenter Betty,

I have studied the Koran, Hadith, history of Islam and many biographies of the Prophets. The only good thing I can say is that he was a very effective politician and a great militaryman. But the intolerance instituted in the Sunni Islam, which a majority of Muslims follow, is indisputable. I don't know how you can make the remarks that you did unless you did not read the sources above.
