Discusing and criticising Islam should be as acceptable as discussing and criticizing any other religion or ideology such as communism of fascism. But it should be done with taste without offending Muslims who are extremely sensitive to any criticism. Any religion is an emotional faith accepted at a very early stage of life and almost never questioned later. Very few people choose their faith when they are adults and after they examine several other religions.
Almost every believer gets his or her faith from parents at an early stage life when he or she is unable critically assess pluses and minuses of the faith. Also the most credible critics of Christianity are former priestsc and the most believeble critics of Islam are former Muslims who know this faith not only from Quran but from their painful experience.
