It is very sad to watch the British Bulldog turn into the British LapsoApso. Like you, I expect little from the french and have tendencies of being an Anglophile but given the " we have no chance" or " we must accept arab militantism" attitudes and comments, sometimes shocking , emanating from the mouths of:

Gerald Kaufman, MP Labor - very much a palestinian sympathizer based on article in the Guardian

George Galloway, professional arab apologist and recipient of much oil and money according to findings by N Colemen, Minn. which the media does not report - wife - sorry, ex-wife is of arab descent

Ian "Red" Livingston, Mayor of London - no comments necessary

Tony Blair, PM, regarding palestinians especially his decision to not invite Israel on a Middle East peace conference several years ago ( he is Labor, we must not forget that ) Twice I have heard him denounce the Iranian threats to Isreal. Since when does a Brit care about Israel?

Tony Blair's wife - defends the hijab wearing school girls

Peter Bergen ( so called terrorist expert - when not giggling like a girl - darling of CNN and North AMerican MSM )

Robert Fisk - British version of Noam Chomsky

A gaggle of BBC, Guardian, Independent "journalists" and animators who weap over arafat or claim that " Israel stole Christmas"

I would even include several Aussies: Nic Robertson ( Is he British? ) or the blonde chap - Michael something who works on CNN international - he was hangin' with arafat in his bunker in ramallah when Israel decided ( finally ) to confine him there

I am amazed of how the islamist terror of 7/7 has already been forgotten from any british ( no capitals on purpose ) website
