Islam and Qur'an Not Subject to Criticism

Reader comment on item: Subsidizing the Enemy

Submitted by Infidel (the ape) (Canada), May 2, 2006 at 15:36

Why should we be shocked or horrified that Islamic schools in London are teaching that non-Muslims are akin to pigs and dogs (apes)? They are in fact quoting from the most holy book, The Holy Qur'an, delivered by Allah, through the angel Gabriel to Muhammad. According to:

Aya [5.60] Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil; - these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!"

Since the world has accepted that Islam is one of the three important religions, what right do we have to challenge the teachings contained in their holy book? And what right would the British authorities have to dispute Allah's proclamation? How can Allah make a mistake? OK! I know that it is perfectly acceptable to scoff at the Bible, lampoon the 10 commandments, hate and criticize the Jews, mock devout Christians, make insulting movies about Christ, but to censure the Qur'an, now thats going a little to far!
