The difference between British occupation and USA liberalization policy in Iraq is that British troops did not add to their occupation sexual harrasment like what USA troops did in Iraq.
Other difference is under USA controlled government, the Iraqi people are poorer than their situation under Saddam. These are the reality that anyone cannot deny.

I am not in favor of Saddam government, if you might think so. Measured from democracy, in its real sense, the present Iraqi government does not have sufficient legitimacy, neither did Saddam government. Both came up from blatant denial of the right of majority to chose their own leader and to choose their own destiny.
