A Vacuum of Tensions Reader comment on item: The Caliphate

It's clear that the end of the cold war has created a vacuum of tensions, and it's sad for humanity to be led by such delusionary thinking ringing of a seven headed beast replete with much Gogery and Magogery. How else would rational minds arrive at a caliphate from Indonesia to Spain, that will wipe out nuclear powered civilizations. If the caliph is a bearded cave man in a white robe and sandals, followed by a handful of stateless dead-enders, then maybe the neo-cons have been reading and watching too many acts of fiction, and maybe this is seeping into their reality of fear mongering, and political swarming.
