An Unending War Reader comment on item: The Caliphate

I accept that the Islamist goal is a caliphate (a single, global state, ruled by the Shari‘a). I suggest that the most direct implication of this desired goal is a war that will never end.
Beyond just a goal, the Islamist (I prefer Islamofascist) caliphate desire is its raison d'etre. Without that goal, there is no Islamist.
What this means is that there is no base upon which to fashion a resolution between the Islamofascists and the rest of the world. Why? The rest of the world will not accept life as a caliphate thrall; the Islamofascist is, like the spider who stung the frog mid-stream, unable to act against its raison d'etre, its nature.
If the rest of the world, for the sake of this subject, is the healthy part of a free humankind organism, then the Islamafacist is that organism's cancer. The only cure is the surgery known as war. That war will never end - - that is, unless there is an end to Islamofascism. Islamofascism will not end until there is no living Islamofascist.
