Reply to John L - Muslim rights
Reader comment on item: Why Corporations Fund Radical Islam

Submitted by Faqi Husssain (United States), Sep 12, 2005 at 03:55

Mr. John L, No one in the West has ever denied any Muslim any of the rights enjoyed by the other citizens.
If at all, Muslims have demanded and received special treatment in most of the Western Countires. The West have been giving the Muslim community almost everything they ask for decades: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, dole money, housing, free medical care, free schooling, citizenship & land to build mosques all over the place - the works. Through default they raised themselves to an economic level far greater than that which was on offer in Pakistan and other Muslim countries .

If Muslims feel alienated; thats their own doing, as they do not assimilate with the populations in the countries they creep into, especially in the West. They were never invited to come in the first place. They create ghettos and replicate their villages in Pakistan, Bangaladesh and so forth. They educate their children in separate schools, arrange marriages from their homeland and generally try to maintain a lifestyle like where they came from, apart from the the citizens of their adopted country.

Citizens get upset when they try to dictate to the host country what they want to the exclusion of the majority. If they want a lifestyle such as this, they should have stayed in their own countries, no wonder they feel alienated and neglected . Its their own doing.
If Muslim extremism is to be tackled, the Muslim community in the adopted countries should stop feeling that they are been victimized, when in fact they chose to live this way.

Muslims living in the west have learnt precious little. If young Muslims living in our affluent and freedom loving societies have been unable to appreciate the benefits that rejecting extremism brings They believe the radicals & have no respect or appreciation for the Institutions of the adopted country.

Western based muslims are becoming rather adept at manipulating democratic codes & sensitivities in their adopted countries in order to extort concessions on every facet of life and add to that, if that was not enough, they also dish out humiliations to anyone if they point these out - CAIR, MCB & MAB and so on. They continue to afflict the hapless non-Muslim populace, who have had decades of "reconciliation" with this unendurably useless and hostile community, and know too well the bitter fruits that this ridiculous modus operandi yields.

I dont know where John L got his facts and figures to say there are 9 million muslims in the USA. The figure is somewhat more modest in the range of 2 to 4 million, and to say that "Muslims are neglected and treated as if they have no right to exist" is outright erroneous and fallacious. Other minorities do not act as a 5th column in their adopted countries. They value citizenship in democracies..
