Reader comment on item: Why Corporations Fund Radical Islam

Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Sep 3, 2005 at 09:22

As long as there are laws on the books, or more specifically, activist judges who are adept at reading into laws that which the legislators left out; corporations paying danegeld to Islamists will be the norm.

The scene that Tom Clancy paints in his novel, "The Bear and the Dragon" of people protesting products from mainland China, this will continue to be fiction until the West shakes off the 1960s thinking which set up speech codes supposedly to protect vulnerable minorities. Part of the effect has been, we have ended up giving a segment of our world to the Arab Aryanists. Not to mention, those supposedly vulnerable minorities have used the law to hound those who disagree with them.
