Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: my experience with a Turkish Muslim man

I have been married to a turk for18 yrs and I am in sheer emotional misery! We haven't had sex in yrs and he's cheating onlin I think he stopped but he was romantic in beginning. As long as I do what he wants everything is fine. When ever I try to talk about our relationship he changes subject. I know he's capable of intimacy because he was with me in the beginning and he was on line with the other women. I've never felt so rejected and lonely in my whole life! I'm seeking help before I hurt myself! I think is suicide a lot! But my 2 boys are what keeps me from that!im still a very attractive woman and I feel like I'm wasting with him. He says he loves me but we sleep on different floors of our home? He never try's to come to sleep in our bed? It feels like he doesn't desire me anymore for yrs? But he shows other women more attention! We run a business together and I do it well for him! The customers love us but I found out he was giving in if our customers free service and talking long time on phone during working hours and after working hours! I nipped that in the bud Quick! I feel like it's only a matter of time before he does it again! He's a good bullshiter and liar and he thinks I'm stupid even when I catch him in the act he denies it and says I'm crazy! I don't trust him and I live on egg shells in miss trust! I don't know what to do because financially I need him I'm type one diabetic and having some serious health issues due too stress and his dishonesty. I know I'm settling for less by staying with someone I don't really think loves me enough
