Lina, you're post is intelligent, sharp and honest as usual. I agree on every word.

You pointed out something that always has kept me intrigued. It's true that they have that Middle Ages conception of life and what comes after death is of more importance. Hence, their goal and the reason of all their worshipping.

However, they lie, they cheat and they commit Zina (sex out of the marriage which is a major sin for them). Leaving aside that treating us badly is encouraged in the Qur'an to shape us and lead us to the right path and that they can have up to 4 wives, how is possible that they do what they do to us? Even I know that it doesn't matter if the woman decides to revert to Islam for the sake of love. They still treat her this way. They still lie and they do cheat. At first, I couldn't understand.

How can they think that they still have a spot in heaven? Mine, apparently, looked like the most devout Muslim. He prayed 5 times, went to mosque on Friday, didn't drink, try to do as much good deeds as he could... All what for? He was the meanest creature I have ever met. His cruelty had no limits. He was so obsessed with death... and yes, he was scared. But I think he relies on worshipping as it's written so he could have a happy end in Jannah.

I have reached the conclusion that they behave like this precisely because it is totally allowed and encouraged in their holy book. And it is something really scaring.
