Hey and thank you for your informative post to me..I always was raised and thought that when you love and marry you become one..a unit...a whole..but married to a muslim man I can't properly put into words how different this journey really is...he never made me feel I was his priority..though he would call me his wife in a controlling manner he never made me feel like a wife the way western women do..I felt like property..everything is islam is focused on the male ..everything...the women just have to please and obey and be grateful...I never felt he had the capability of loving adoring and making me an equal...it was all about him...any woman who gets involved with a muslim man MUST educate herself first this is so important..don't ask a muslim as they sugar coat it all..they will never be honest with you because islam will ALWAYS come first above all...
