Dear Ms. Smith,

I completely agree with Daniel Pipes's view on this affair, namely that Amazon should reinstitute Bellwether's right to
sell Korans on Amazon, make no public condemnations, and not give money to MPAC.

As I am sure you know but perhaps are not in a position to express, Amazon's politically correct response to MPAC's and
Basarudin's attacks is exactly the wrong one. If Islam is to be a part of America, it must respect and adapt to
American law and mores. Giving in like this speeds the day when Islamic "law"--for example with respect to women--
attempts to, perhaps does, displace American rights and freedoms.

Best wishes in this matter. I would certainly not object if you wished to forward a copy of this to Jeff Bezos.
