Free speechReader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem Submitted by Jeann Ward (United States), May 29, 2005 at 12:40 I thought that we had free speech in this country. It is time to stand up to anyone whose feelings are hurt. Of course it is bad to say hurtful things. But we must protest all those who give in to people who do not like what is said. Either this country is free and we are allowed to speak freely or we do not have a free country.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Comment on this item
