Advice for Julie; BiznessReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Lina (United Kingdom), Jun 9, 2014 at 05:52 Julie, You've already set yourself up for disaster by offering to pay for his internet - in fact there are red flags all over this relationship: 1) He's 10 years younger than you - in North African cultures it's usually the opposite 2) You say you can never have a family with him - he will want children, if not with you then with someone else 3) You met on holiday - it wasn't a "relationship", it was a fling. It's easy to fall in love when you're on holiday, you're relaxed and meet someone exotic and good looking. But it's not reality. 4) He never asks for money - they never do. They don't want you to read the smallprint yet. There's always an "accident" or sob story, in your case it's his "operation". Next time ask him for evidence that he even went to hospital. 5) He calls you at 3am - as the saying goes, nothing good ever happens after 2am 6) The phone calls are less frequent - of course... he's got you hooked, and now he can move onto his other target/s while keeping your strung along. 7) He told you he loved you - love develops over months, years, of regular contact and bonding. Not a holiday in the sun 7) "I wait you habibi" etc.... I'm sure a lot of the women on here have heard similarly cheesy lines. And it's all very romantic and sounds very sexy and exotic, but it doesn't help form a healthy relationship. I'm sorry to say, Julie, but this sounds like a textbook case of "bizness".
