The only thing I would add to this excellent piece is that the time at which this Islamist was activated--Jan-Feb of 2004--coincides with the time during which, according to Debka.com and author Paul Williams, al Qaeda transferred approximately 2/3 of its sleeper-terrorists who were previously inside the US into the Iraqi theater. If this is more than coincidence, then it would further validate the already numerous calls for better communication and cooperation between our domestic and foreign intelligence agencies.
