Why are Muslims so obsessed with "honor"?

Why are Muslims so fixated on their twisted version of "honor". Some will kill their own sisters over this so-called "honor". They sound like a bunch of Klingons when they speak this way.

Beware ye of false pride. A false teacher can be known by his pride.
