Reader comment on item: Can Hezbollah and Hamas Be Democratic?

Unfortunately, Santana was correct, to paraphrase, "those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it". Do leopards change their spots and all the trite aphorisms relating to the aforementioned? We must hope and pray and have our arsenals ready in the event hopes and prayers are just that!
