Reader comment on item: Stay out of the Syrian Morass

Submitted by Jay1 (United States), Jun 18, 2012 at 12:40

With Russia and even China saying no and no in the UN, the US and the west has one hand tied behind its back. With the US unsure of the exact components of Syria's freedom movement, that too is a problem. In the Middle East, America is forever being asked to get involved in endeavors that lead America to fail. I'd rather see the bad fail and the good prevail. Maybe there should be two Syrias. A little map movement may be in order. It just happened in Sudan. And the Golan- -recognize it to Israel once and for all. Nothing would sow defeat to the Assad legacy more than this. Nothing May the good inherit the world.
