Reader comment on item: Obama's Failed Middle East Speech
in response to reader comment: What Obama said and what he didn't say

And therein lays the America conundrum. It is how America ended up with the current office holder of the presidency, and it is how America is evidently unable to extricate herself from the situation being prepped in September.

In the meeting where PM Netanyahu bravely expressed the inescapable facts of the situation on the ground in Israel, the look on the American Chief Executive was worth billions of dollars of words, the value of which can be expected to be provided, not to America's best ally in the Middle East (Israel, for those who have forgotten by the way), but to the enemies of peace in the region for the hatred so expressed towards Israel.

Israel will need to take bold action, and in such a way that everyone will never forget. We know what the American Chief Executive said. The question is, how will America survive if the United States does not repent of the fallacy that was so patently included in the failed policy speech, that of the burden falling to Israel. Weren't six million plus souls payment enough?
