Dear Dr Pipes:

Asking Israel to return to 1967 borders is like giving a free license to a bunch of rogue nations with no legitimate governments to attack a democracy and get away with it. You see, if these nations were powerful and intelligent enough in 1967 and had won the war, they might indeed have thrown Israel into the ocean and the world would have been enjoying yet another 99% Islamic emirate. If they were dumb enough to attack Israel and stupid enough to lose the war, there must be a cost for it.
