IN the best of all worlds and endings, Arafat will wake up, decide to stay in Paris and spend his time shopping with his wife, enjoying the cuisine (Frenchmen) and perhaps introduce the antisemitic French aristocracy to the HIV virus firsthand. IF he is really dead, he should definitely be buried in Paris - he belongs there.
As an Egyptian Arab pretending to be a Palestinian peacemaker, who is in reality a terrorist, killer and has kept the people in Gaza and the West Bank in abject poverty, directed their frustration away from him and onto the Israelis and Americans, he really deserves to be made an honorary Frenchman. He personifies the current leadership in France beautifully. I urge all Americans and friends of the USA and Israel to boycott France and French products.
Daniel Pipes, you are a voice of reason and restraint in an upside down world and that is why you have been so villified by the media. You are a light to the rest of us and I thank you for your fine body of work.
