More shame than farce

Reader comment on item: Arafat's Bedroom Farce

Submitted by Lex (United States), Nov 10, 2004 at 14:36

There's more than farce here. The description of the nauseating, pitiful hole of a cemetery where Arafat's sister lies buried should remind us all of the complete degradation this man represents. And that the greatest victims of that degradation include not only the Israelis he slaughtered but the wretched Palestinians he plundered, tormented and deluded for four decades.

This disgusting affair should enrage all people of good will and humanity. One hopes against hope that the next forty years will see the people of Palestine recover some humanity and dignity, and cast off the jackals who created the miserable hole they find themselves in.
