Death is Too Good
Reader comment on item: Arafat's Bedroom Farce

Submitted by Ruth Lowry (United States), Nov 11, 2004 at 12:28

Death is too good for the likes of Arafat, supreme murderer and maimer of thousands of human beings; scourge of his own people who suffered abject living conditions while he literally stole billions of dollars over the years, meant by donors to improve the lives of Arabs under his rule.

The infamous Oslo Accords turned out to be a farce in the faces of both Jews and Arabs. Once he was chased out of the area he should have been kept away as one would keep away a rabid wolf in sheep's clothing ... or the most horrendous plague. That Arafat was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize is one enormous joke on all of us.

I picture him now in Hell, attempting to talk the Devil out of his throne. Then again, perhaps the throne is after all, his. It is said the Devil can incarnate himself in many forms here on earth. Wonder how difficult it has been ... wearing a kafiyah over horns.
