... northern cyprus is a democracy and its people are pretty wealthy. gdp per capita is more than 20.000 US dollars. in gaza people are extremely poor bcs international aid is limited by israel.

Also Most greek cypriots who lost their properties received compensation from turkey. (millions of euros). also turkey is ready to leave its military in cyprus but greek cypriots didnt allow this by rejecting re-unification
