Use finger prints to identify

Because of the sensitivity of the situation could not fingerprints be used instead of exposing the face of a married muslim female.The USA is making extensive use of fingerprints.Possibly these could become part of the fixed data in a passport.But this would prevent the use of stolen or forged passports.and make espionage quite difficullt.We would solve many problems .
