IgnorantReader comment on item: Anti-Muslim Racism? Submitted by Sarah Fawke (Singapore), Jan 23, 2010 at 02:34 Just because you are not aware of Christian groups who preach hate and are terrorist do not mean they do not exist. The world is much, much more complicated than you wish to believe. You'd rather think that there is one mortal enemy of mankind, so conveniently categorised as one religion. It's frankly ethnocentric, and although ethnocentrism may be advantageous to some extent, it just shows how much ignorance is prevalent despite assertions of being educated and civilised. Face it, hate and extremism exists in every context, and in such diverse forms that it makes no sense to marginalise a certain group of people, which itself is so diverse that they may have nothing in common besides their religion.
