If someone says " radical islamists crashed planes into the world trade center " that is not racist it is a fact. If a reporter shows a large group of muslims in a middle east country shouting " death to Israel " the reporter is not a bigot nor is the camera person who is filming this a racist. There are good muslims in the world, however there are also some bad ones. We are not wrong to point out terrorist acts. We are not the bad guy when we speak of the hate that is yelled by some muslims against us. The terrorist acts by radical muslims is a large reason why people speak poorly about muslims.
