your idealized version of religion, god, christianity

I agree with your idealized version of religion, god, christianity etc. to some extent. But not fully, because god as presented by you from your book or revelation or personal affect, does not overcome the many contradictions and the objections which a sensitive human has or unavoidably develops. I have lived with good christians for many years and they were sure the best years of my life - but at the end I was not conviced of their theories and solutions. Their god-concept was too sentimental, too unrealistic, too inefficient, too time-wasting.

... As regards christian slander against hindu religions (note the plural here) things were very bad earlier, but have now improved. But some hindu fascists continue to be angry about the past.
