The Case is Made - For a Defense of Insanity in the Face of Reality

Reader comment on item: Maj. Hasan's Islamist Life

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Nov 20, 2009 at 14:32

Ever since former President Bush softened his rhetoric after initially inferring the post 9-11 actions of the US in 'crusade terms', and retreating from specific identifications of potential terrorist antagonists in generic 'Muslim' terms (making the extremist distinction to separate out the 'moderates'), there has been this politically corrected process of trying to dilute the broadcast message of virtually all non-American (and now indigent American) Muslim sensibilities so as to present a socially accepted transition of a post-Christian America into one that embraces a Muslim mentality. You cannot say it is not so when it is the specifically directed agenda of the American Administrative Executive.

Even if only half of what Dr. Pipes presented here is provable in a court of law (supposing the Major's legal counsel is able to get some part of it suppressed) and his contention that assassin Nidal Hasan as a jihadist is justified, the simple response is……duh!!!!! How many 'Palestinian' jihadists in Israel would love to get just one Israeli soldier to make his way to the Islamist paradise, and Hasan is credited with 12.

We have also seen the photograph of the military honors being presented to the fallen warriors; and of the slight to such honors by the American Administrative Executive while all others saluted. It is asserted here that the opening question in Dr. Pipes essay, -As the Pentagon and Senate launch what one analyst dubs "dueling Fort Hood investigations," will they confront the hard truth of the Islamic angle? - is answered, at least in part, by the lack of responsible legal confrontation in the face of the declared Islamic onslaught against all America, let alone the leftist media posturing of all such things. The Fort Hood assassin's defense by mental incapacity is virtually assured, and the prosecution's work is cut out for them to prove other otherwise.

Since it will be some time for the accused to be ready for trial, we will see how such things go before then when the 9-11 conspirators get their run at American justice (so called), and new precedents are set by the time the Fort Hood Assassin gets his turn.
