radical muslims

Why are Muslims only moderates and radicals? Arent they still Muslims? Dont they all still serve allah and read the same quran and hadiths? Arent they all either a sunni or shia or NOI or etc. ... Dont they all believe allah said jews and Christians are apes and pigs, and all blacks were created to be slaves and then go to hellfire? If so, arent they all radical?
