Reality sets inReader comment on item: Israel's Wayward Prime Ministers Submitted by Abraham Walfish (United States), Jul 1, 2004 at 11:49 Isn't it often true that achieving office changes the available options and that those promises made as a candidate become unrealistic as the elected official ? From the security of my home, I would oppose dividing Jerusalem and descending from the Golan. (Their wine is great). If I lived with death, as David Grossman puts it, I would probably have a different opinion. All good wishes.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
