Reader comment on item: Israel's Wayward Prime Ministers

Submitted by Ely Silk (United States), Jun 30, 2004 at 14:40

Unfortunately, time is quickly running out for Israel's electorate to choose a "modest" prime minister. Although the UN is remarkably sanguine with respect to Iran's growing nuclear capability, the chances are that very soon Israel will be in her crosshairs. While Israel ponders the advisability of throwing away her safety and security in the name of safety and security, the leadup to the final battles is swiftly approaching.

There is no current, "David, King of Israel" in the wings. Each prime minister has been worse than the previous one with the pinnacle of mediocrity being the most current one. Who's next? Small wonder that God refers to the people in the land as, "...the lost sheep of the House of Israel."
