Reader comment on item: Israel's Wayward Prime Ministers

Submitted by Ruth Lowry (United States), Jun 29, 2004 at 21:15

Dear Dr. Pipes,

You are of course correct in your analysis of Israeli prime ministers. Sharon is one I simply cannot figure out. Primarily, unless he has a hidden agenda of sorts, his pulling out the settlements in Gaza appears to be absolutely STUPID. If you have any idea of his reasoning in this matter, would you please enlighten me? I highly respect your opinions and am an eager reader of your writings. Thank you.
Ruth Lowry
