Remembered Pieck ?

Reader comment on item: Ahmadinejad or Mousavi?

Submitted by Jiri Severa (Canada), Jun 20, 2009 at 08:17

I am glad to see you changed your mind on the Iran election. Lesser evil is always the better evil. Ernst Thaelmann 1930's Communists prefered the Nazis to Social Democrats based on the same logic you used initially to favour Amhadinejad in power. Of Thaelmann's inner circle only only Wilhelm Pieck survived,....in Moscow, where he loudly praised the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact.
