Iran needs neither of them to lead.

Reader comment on item: Ahmadinejad or Mousavi?

Submitted by M.D'Souza (United States), Jun 21, 2009 at 18:52

Ahmadinejad & Mousavi both belonged to the revolution started by Khomeini.

In that respect Mousavi's wife Dr. Zahra Rahnavard is a preferable candidate to lead. She has a Ph.D. in political science and was an adviser to former president Mohammad Khatami. Provided she does not enforce her dress-style on the young Iranians, she will be a good snub to Ahmadinejad who questioned the legitimacy of her doctorate degree.
