Global law destroys national sovereignty

Sovereign states are defined by their laws. Without national sovereignty there can be no inter-national co-operation. Think of what international means. Without parts, no whole. International law is nonsense. There is no international court without police or jails that is equally active and effective in every national jurisdiction, many of which reject absolutely the crossing of their national boundaries by an international police which, at present can only peacefully enter states at their request. There is no consistency from jurisdiction to jurisdiction in law nor is there likely to be with the cultural diversity which so many seem to praise while trying to undermine it with "international law."

Dreamers like Mr. Koh seem to believe that people will give up their differences in favor of their similarities. Not only is he wrong but, should he be right it would mean the end of cultural diversity which is a wonderful thing.
