Sharia permits slavery of non Muslims

Reader comment on item: Harold Koh, Promoter of Shari'a?

Submitted by David Goshen (Israel), Mar 31, 2009 at 08:34

The Northern States fought a very bloody long war with the Southern States .The issue was to end slavery. The Northern States triumphed & slavery was banished forever from the USA. Anyone even suggesting the introduction of Shari'a Law must realise that he is reintoducing Slavery. Shari'a Law also provides for the reinslavement of women who must in Winston Churchill's famous River Wars Speech in 1899 belong to a man either as a wife , concubine, or child with no freedom to do anything without a man's permission!
