Reader comment on item: Study the Koran?

A wise survey. But. It looks as if Afganistan and Iraq are likely to establish cleric dominated supreme courts which may mimic the Iranian model in controlling the major social fabric of their nations. Clerical dictatorships, in short, which means the Koran, under clerically guided interpretation, will be used to rule these nations. Worst scenario, perhaps, but much to be feared.
