Nature vs. Nurture and a desire for votes
Reader comment on item: Lee Harvey Oswald's Malign Legacy

Liberalism is a giant fur-ball that America has thrown up, and it has taken on a life of it's own. It's comparable to a genetic mutation, occuring not as a result of natural selection but of idealic incubative conditions stretching out over the last sixty years. The 1960's were simply a metaphoric application of steroid therapy.

It is easier to fall into a hole than to climb out of it, and it is easier to ignore logic (which requires thought) and live by emotion (which requires no thought).

The arrogance based on emotion exhibited by the perpetrators and proponents of Liberalism must continue to be fed; ergo their irrational delusion of "a perfect world"; this is done not by producing utopian results, but by discrediting everything from American itself, Big Business, capitalism, and military victory.

It's no surprise that this "hole" Liberals have fallen into shows them grabbing for their survival onto socialism, communism, the Welfare State. It is the way they survive; it is the way they collect votes.

It is now the sole reason for which they exist.

Liberalists have long ago rejected the realities which established and made the greatest nation on earth, America, which includes Big Business, capitalism, freedom through military VICTORY, in exchange for pandering and placating those who "feel".

Liberals used to "feel" for their fellow Americans (echo President Kennedy); now they just "feel" for their fellow man, who in turn,

"Feel" unjustified.

"Feel" depressed.

"Feel" alienated.

"Feel" their rights have been violated.

"Feel" persecuted.

Although I doubt they are smart enough to realize it, Liberals have monopolized a previously un-tapped market, and they hit the jackpot with this one, as it contains a rapidly ever-expanding base which never tires of hearing how nothing is their fault, yet they are entitled to everything.

"Only in America". The great success of this nation has enabled a large portion of the last three generations to grow up totaly divorced of reality, reality which includes little things like volitional responsibility and consequence of action.

Liberalism is not wholy responsible (they like to hear that). Republican candidates have proven blackguard in their desire for votes.

The Nature and Nurture of communism is alive and well in America..
