Shocking, very shocking
Reader comment on item: [Maher Hawash:] The Terrorist Next Door

Submitted by Jack Omar (United States), Sep 2, 2003 at 13:31

The confession by this model Arab-American has exposed the subtle manner that the seemingly pious Arab can foment against those who are not his own. It is becoming increasingly clear that hardcore islamists will do what they considered to be a duty for the cause of furthering militant islam. They are a danger to our society and unless we become vigilant like those who reported his strange behavior to the authorities we all stand in danger of the callous disregard of human life.

The end result of this man's action was to help the Taliban cause havoc and destroy precious lives. Americans must be awoken to the dangers of militant islam and all those who tend to support their agendas that are hidden. The exposure of this Arab American has underscored the evil that is inherent in militant islam. But to blame hardcore Arabs for being wicked without examining the writings that give rise to their inhuman behavior is to fail to appreciate the true nature of what militant islam can accomplish.

It is the duty of ever American to be aware of the dangers that we all face and the efforts we must all put forth to rid this monster from our midst. The American Muslims have a major responsibility to examine writings that tend to make humans hate others who are not in their fold, and examine why it is good to the Muslim that those who are not part of their community must be killed to increase a faithful's chance of entering into heaven.
