I speak as a 73 year old engilshman, with a pedigree going back to the 16th/17th century, and as such, feel I have a right to be concerned about my country, and its decline. I fear for my grandchildren, and what the future holds for them here.
You are lucky in America, in that freedom of speech still exists, otherwise the Maher Hawash affair would never have come to light. Its a reasonable assumption, that if it were to happen in the UK, the people who rightly noted and reported the details to the authorities would have been accused of racism, and may well have landed up in court, and charged under the anti-racist laws that appear here like weeds.
Many english people are afraid to speak their minds regarding us becoming a dumping ground for many of the the worlds great unwashed, our health, education, and state schemes are breaking down under the influx, and even more worrying is the seeming lack of vetting by the security services, and the attendant chance of terroist cells flourishing under the facade of asylum.
Were I younger, I would be gone from my beloved country, to a place such as the US, or New Zealand, where freedom still means something, along with freedom of speech.
Regards- Ken Gilbert.
