Daniel,
I hear what you are saying but IMHO you are missing the big picture. I see the Presidents plan as a win-win for the Middle East and for Israel. The Palestinians have to demonstrate they want peace and not just say they want peace. If they do not demonstate they really want peace (which I do not think their leaders want) the rest of the world will have little to say if (when) an all out military campaign is required to defeat the terrorists in the Middle East.
