defining moral clarity

Reader comment on item: Bush is rewarding [Palestinian] terrorism

Submitted by Rusty Rivet (United States), Jun 25, 2002 at 21:52

Bravo, Dr.Pipes,

Once again, yours is the only voice in this country that actually possesses the already clich├ęd "moral clarity"! It's very dangerous to overlook the mood of the arab street, overwhelmingly supporting homicide bombings. A democratic state cannot be wished upon a tribal people, nor can it be imposed.

Last Sunday, I saw a woman holding a slogan at a rally: "9/11 in America = 24/7 in Israel". When will the government understand that the success of the war on terror in Israel will determine our own success in the very same war?
