an apocalyptic cult puppet with a nuke?

Reader comment on item: Ahmadinejad - Hostage Taker?

I don't know how one would validate any input by the Russian Media. They seem to be playing both sides in this war against this cult of evil sponsored world jihad. Ahmadinejad is a tool. I don't know how he could even be considered a politician. He's a public face for the Ayatollah and his council.

I watched CNN's Glen Beck last night because he had Benjamin Netanyahu on and was talking about Iran. Netanyahu made a distinction between Islam, Muslims, and this Cult of the mahdi and their desire for nuclear weapons. To me he made a lot of sense and I appreciated his ability to make clear that he was not talking against all of Islam nor all Muslims but, rather this evil cult of the mahdi and their need for a apocalyptic end to western culture in order for Islam to take it's rightful place as the one and only true religion.

While I think Ahmadinejad is a tool, I do believe that his words bear listening to as a window into this cult and their hatred of western culture and democracy. However I don't think he is in any way the thinking behind the cult nor it's formenter. My parents taught me that I would be judged by my friends. Anything that Ahmadinejad represents can't be good nor can his "friends" be any better.

Finding a picture of him with hostages(?) from 1979 with or with out a gun means nothing. Just about every piece of media coming from Iran is staged. And if by chance not, then sensored to provide an intended image. Remember, they don't just have to fool us but. also convince their own that they are committed to the Ayatollah and the cult. So far they have managed to kill many more of themselves than westerners.God help us if we play at politics and not act to excise this cult from power and influence. A nuclear armed Ayatollah in Iran is out of the question. Their willingness to strap on a dynamite vest and to immolate themselves in the name of Allah is proof of their capacity to use a dirty nuke bomb to vapourize hundreds maybe thousands and terrorize millions.
