Reader comment on item: Ahmadinejad - Hostage Taker?

The first engagement of World War IV, although not recognized as such. our feeble response then and subsequently encouraged the radicals just as failure to respond to the incursion of the German Army into the Rhineland did way back in the 1930's. Think of all the lives and treasure lost through that failure.

I perceive this enemy to be more dangerous to the survival of the U.S. than any previous one. What is so dangerous about it now is the failure of most in Europe and a majority in the U.S. to get it.
