Daniel,

The only realistic, sensible article I have seen recently on Iraq. I was appalled to learn about the 4,000 employee embassy-fortress we are building in Baghdad. I am not horrified at the levels of violence in Iraq, which are amplified all out of proportion by the media, but you are exactly right in urging the Administration to make "Iraqis" responsible for their own policing and security. Our vital interest is to keep Iraq and its oil out of hostile hands.
